OUTLINE OF POSITION AND DUTIES:
The individual will provide excellent client service to all clients of the bank. They will process transactions for clients consistent with Bank’s policies and procedures.  They will possess a knowledge and understanding of all Bank products and services, and endeavor to sell these products and services to new and existing clients.  They will further ensure that the Bank is not placed in a potential loss situation.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma

PREFERRED PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
6 months cash handling experience

REQUISITE SKILLS:

  • Good Communication skills.
  • Good Computer Skills.
  • Good Cash Handling Skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to Sit/Stand for long periods.
  •  

DUTIES to include but not limited to:

  • Greet clients in a friendly, professional, courteous manner.
  • Receive deposits; verify cash and endorsements, issue receipts.
  • Accept checks for cashing, verifying funds and endorsements, taking and recording proper identification as necessary.
  • Possess a knowledge and understanding of all Bank products and services.
  • Issue Cashiers Checks per client request. 
  • Client Services Representatives are expected to seek and recognize opportunities for sales and cross sales and refer a minimum number of bank products and services on a quarterly basis for the calendar year as set by management.
  • Attend and successfully complete all assigned mandatory compliance and training courses assigned by the Bank.
  • Demonstrate exemplary internal and external customer service at all times.
  • Meet Sales Goals established through Bank-wide and Banking Office specific Campaigns.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Compliance Associate

OUTLINE OF POSITION AND DUTIES:
Under general supervision, the Compliance Associate will provide administrative support to the Risk Management and Compliance Programs. Perform a variety of duties that may include researching regulations, writing of procedures, coordinating, scheduling, and providing training. Maintaining the training logs as it pertains to compliance training. Maintain the audit tracking log(s) and follow-up on recommendations. Standardize current documents as requested. Maintain the forms library, procedure folder and master document logs on the F drive and the intranet. Including a standard coding system for all forms, procedures and policies. Aid in the organization and clean-up of the F drive. Prepares, or assists in the preparation of meeting, audit and training materials.

Keeping abreast of changes to laws and regulations. Responsible for continued compliance job related personal training. Maintain the regulatory change matrix.

Assist in implementation of the internal audit control program to review, examine and appraise independently all procedures and operations of the bank. Provide clerical work necessary to ensure required documentation is maintained.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration     

PREFERRED PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
2-5 years in the banking environment

REQUISITE SKILLS:

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced writing skills
  • Familiar with Banking procedures and software

Credit Administrator – Santa Cruz Administrative Office

OUTLINE OF POSITION AND DUTIES

  • Under general direction of the Chief Credit Officer, document track and coordinate the collection of classified assets. Includes responsibilities for incoming/outgoing collections and installment collection.
  • Monitor delinquent credits for the bank and determine when a loan should be transferred for collection.
    • Contact delinquent credit customers and make decisions for the best course of collection. This includes initiating foreclosure of collateral.
    • Prepare delinquent and demand correspondence(s) to the customer in the collection process.  
    • Take possession and/or facilitate possession and liquidation of all forms of collateral.
    • Develop and monitor the OREO procedures and checklists. Monitor OREO properties to insure; insurance is in place, monitor sales process and make recommendations to facilitate the liquidation of the property. Verify the property is secured and maintained during bank ownership.
    • Monitor and track collections and bankruptcies through a tracking matrix
  • Responsible for updating the monthly Watch and CLAP reports
  • FASB 114 and FASB 5 quarterly analysis and reporting
  • Review Credit Authorizations (CA’s) for Call Code check back and covenant requests. Covenants listed on the CA’s are reviewed for compliance with Bank policy and appropriateness to credit size and risk.
    • Create and populate Exception to Policy report at each quarter-end
  • Appraisal Responsibilities. To review and document appraisals and to maintain an updated Approved Appraiser list May also include ordering appraisals.
  • Approve and document  subordination requests
  • Develop and monitor assigned procedures such as A/R and loan monitoring on a monthly basis which includes freezing lines and override dollar amounts
  • Develop and maintain a quarterly large loan report.
  • Develops and analyzes credit information. Furnishes information relative to credit inquiries and provides assistance to the Chief Credit Officer. Prepares cash flow analyses, summaries, presents facts and may offer opinions concerning credit worthiness.
  • Ensures documentation adheres to bank policies and laws and regulations applicable to the extension of credit and collections. 

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
BA Business Administration

PREFERRED PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
8 years bank lending experience

REQUISITE SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of banking collection practices and documentation procedure.
  • Knowledge of bankruptcy law and how it relates to loan collection and bank collateral.
  • Knowledge of SBA lending practices and collections.
  • Collects, organizes, and analyzes data for a variety of loan products.
  • Analyzes financial statements, financial ratios and reviews tax analysis.
  • Reviews all documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to documents being signed and finalized.
  • Has direct contact with clients to resolve routine issues.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with other bank departments, such as the Note Department, to obtain and share information and resolve client issues.
  • Assists Chief Credit Officer in loan write-up requirements, and performs written analysis independently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
